If you haven’t tried them together before, Gin & Ginger work really well together, and with a taste of coriander for that extra something special.

Grated Ginger (to taste, if you want it to be more gingery, just use more)

Muddled Coriander (a small sprig)

30 ml   Gin

30 ml   Lime Juice

20 ml   Sugar Syrup (can easily be made a home in advance)

½ Egg White

Sparkling Water

A sprig of fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Method:
  1. Add the coriander to your glass and muddle, (think of it like you would muddle mint for a mojito).
  2. Add all of the remaining ingredients to your cocktail shaker, and shake.
  3. Pour into your chosen glass, and top with Sparkling water.

How to make Sugar Syrup

Dissolve 1 part water to 2 parts caster sugar, over a low heat, and stir.

Leave to cool, and bottle for future use in cocktails.

You can experiment with the quantities for a sweeter, thicker simple syrup. You can also use different sweeteners such as brown sugar, maple syrup or agave if you prefer.
