Springtime at Tapas …..

We’re now on our countdown to our Spring opening Thursday 9th March!

We will be opening Thursday through Saturday 6pm to midnight, and Sundays 2pm to 8pm.

THURSDAYS

Pintxos @ Tapas

It is our first year participating in San Antonio’s Pintxos festival – and we are pretty excited about it.

For the uninitiated, Pintxos is held every Thursday from March 9th to April 13th (that’s 6 weeks in total).

Think of it as a culinary pub crawl. All of the participating bars and restaurants in San An offer a small beer or wine plus a pintxo for just 2.50€, and many offer a special tapas, also with beer or wine.

The photo above shows a few of our contenders for the coveted pintxo crown, and for our special Tapas 8€ plate we’ll be offering a cheese board with a specially selected red wine, or glass of port.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Friday & Saturday we are offering our slightly smaller spring tapas menu but still including some of our favourites including Brie, Popeye and Olive, Calamari, Patatas Bravas, Garlic Mushrooms, Braised Pigs Cheeks and Chicken Skewers.

Best of all is that everything is offered at a big, winter resident friendly, discounted price! But you don’t have to be a resident to get the discount – we are keen to see as many of our early tourists as possible, so if you meet any on your travels please do point them in our direction.

SUNDAYS

Back by popular demand, the Tapas Sunday Roast Dinner.

Always a favourite over our six years at Tapas, we will be offering a choice of Roast topside of beef : roasted belly pork  : chicken breast : and a vegetarian option of lentil & bean cottage pie with sweet potato mash.

We mix up the starters, desserts and vegetables week to week, but whenever you visit we promise the best of ingredients and everything home cooked in our own kitchens.

We know not everybody wants a traditional British Sunday roast dinner and so will also be offering the Tapas menus for our Springtime Sundays.

BOOKINGS

For Pintxos Thursdays no bookings are required or taken. For Sunday Roast dinners bookings are preferred and advised to avoid disappointment. Other times entirely optional.

The restaurant is closed for Private functions April 8th and 9th, and the whole weekend of April 22nd to 25th.
